Bristol Lodge No. 25 Hall
The existing Bristol Masonic Lodge building, located at 219-221 Cedar Street in historic Bristol Pennsylvania, was erected in 1853 on the site of the previous Hall which was turn down during the summer of that year. The Building Committee for the new Hall consisted of Brothers Lucius H. Scott (Chairman), Pugh Dungan, James W. Martin, assisted also by the Trustees at the time Brothers Allen Downing, William Kinsey, Andrew W. Gilkeson, John Dorrance, and J.H. Schenck, M.D.
The Hall was dedicated on Monday, May 1st 1854 by the Grand Master and Officers of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. The ceremony was attended also by the Grand Master and Officers of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey.
Several improvements and upgrades were made to the Lodge building in 1894 to include plumbing, lighting, and heating. Electric lighting was installed in the building in 1897.
